AEE Technology Announces the AP12 and AP20 Series Quadcopter Drones

AEE Technology is debuting new Drone Models for Aerial Photography at this week’s 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, including the new AP12 Quadcopter and a new AP20 Series of Quadcropter Drones. These new models have advanced features such as automatic hover, and a modular control system with integrated displays, with higher resolution cameras mounted to integrated 3-axis gimbals.

AEE Drones AP12

The AP12 features an HD camera system using an integrated 3-axis gimbal. It gives users up to 25 minutes of flight time and can record 1080P video at 60 frames per second.  It has a top speed of 44 miles per hour, and weighs in at 3.3 pounds. This new drone has a control system with a 700 meter (2296 feet) range, with live view video streaming. It also has numerous advanced flight features, including a follow me mode that works with a dedicated tracking wristband.

 The new AP12 will be available this year in the North American market.  Pricing is yet to be determined.

AEE Drones AP20

The new A20 series of drones will consist of 3 models initially, and will have indoor automatic hover positioning systems, 500 meters (1,640 feet) control range with cameras capable of 4K resolution at 30fps. The 4K cameras will be fully integrated with a 3-axis gimbal system to help insure smooth video capture. They will also support real time video streaming and include several different flight modes, including traditional flight control with dual flight stick operating, mobile phone flight control with a Mobile Application from AEE, and a Dynamic flight mode with removable command and control modules.

The A20 drone series will be available in the second half of 2016  Pricing is yet to be determined.
